Hello Noreen,

I think most of us incorporate blogging into our everyday activities. We don't blog as 'writers' so much as we blog problems, lessons learned, discoveries, etc. And most of us blog for ourselves without trying to please an audience. That takes the pressure off.

It turns out that some of the things people blog are interesting to lots of folks, and that some of the folks who write blogs are really smart and talented. So they get a big audience. But most of us are just building an 'outboard brain' of tips, ideas, references, tools, etc.

If you spend a lot of your day in front of a computer, and you make notes throughout the day, have lots of bookmarks, keep clipping files on news items, etc. begin putting some of that in a blog instead of on paper or in proprietary .DOC files. In the blog it will be accessible, searchable, and sharable, but shouldn't add any time to the task.

Remember, blogging is as much about what you learn as what you write.
